As part of the regular monitoring of current Erasmus + CBHE projects, representatives of the National Erasmus + Office in Montenegro visited the University of Montenegro - Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor on July 16th, 2021, regarding the project “Development of Regional Joint Master Program in Maritime Environmental Protection and Management (MEP&M)”.
The goal of the preventive meeting is to get acquainted and additionally connect with the representatives of the management and partner institutions on the project, present the realized and planned project activities, expected project results, and discuss the evaluator's recommendations in terms of improving the implementation process. In the introductory part of the meeting, the representatives of the managing institution on the project, Prof. Dr. Špiro Ivošević (dean of the Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor) and Prof. Dr. Danilo Nikolić (project manager) welcomed the participants and thanked them for their support and participation in the monitoring meeting. They pointed out the numerous international projects implemented so far, as well as the special importance that the MEP&M project has in relation to achieving key institutional, national, and regional goals. Ms. Vanja Drljević, head of the National Erasmus + Office in Montenegro, also addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of participating in Erasmus + programs with special reference to programs such as Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education and academic mobility programs.
In addition to the mentioned, the meeting was also attended by representatives of partner institutions on behalf of the Environmental Protection Agency and the NGO Eco Center "Dolphin".
