Within the Erasmus + project entitled “Development of Regional Joint Master Program in Maritime Environmental Protection and Management (MEP&M)”, the first online training (DEV3.4.1) on “Know-how transfer to teaching staff related to marine and coastal pollution and emission of GHG” was completed. This training was attended by members of the working teams of the Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor and the Institute of Marine Biology from the University of Montenegro (Montenegro), Aleksandar Moisiu University Durres, and “Ismail Qemali” University Vlora (Albania).
During the training, the teaching staff and researchers of the mentioned higher education institutions attended lectures held in four blocks, where they got acquainted with the current trends when it comes to the ecological sustainability of certain segments of shipping, nautical and coastal tourism. The training was organized by a working team from the University of Cadiz (Spain) and the University Côte d’Azur (France), which are otherwise partner institutions from the European Union in this project.
